What is my investment?
We work to balance making services as affordable as possible for you while being able to offer you the high-quality support you need.
Making mental health services and support accessible to our community’s most vulnerable members is very important to us at Best Life Louisville.
- Targeted Case Management is provided through Medicaid insurance plans.
- Psychiatric Medication Management is one of our insurance-based services. We accept commercial insurance and all Medicaid plans.
- You can learn more about our therapy pricing options below.
If you would like to self-pay for Psychiatric services there is a $100 fee for the initial evaluation. Follow-up sessions are $50.
What does Medicaid cover?
We accept all Medicaid plans for Case Management, Psychiatric Services (Medication Management), and Therapy.
We accept all Kentucky Medicaid coverage.
Now accepting Anthem, Humana, Aetna, Cigna (for medication only), and United Healthcare (Optum/UMR) Insurance
We are currently taking Anthem, Humana, Aetna and United Healthcare commercial (this means that this insurance is typically acquired through your employer or the marketplace and is not a Medicaid or Medicare policy).
Why we still do not take all commercial insurance plans:
We have found that billing insurance for therapy services can be an unreliable and tedious path to continue the tremendous growth and impact that we have been making. With inflation, rising mental health needs and overbearing demands on what services need to look like to benefit the bottom line of insurance companies, we have been cautious and discerning in our process of accepting insurance plans. Ethically, we also want to be sure that we are creating a sustainable work environment and livable wages for our qualified mental health professionals.
If we do not currently take your insurance plan, we do accept HSA/FSA cards if they are available with your insurance plan. Additionally, we will provide Superbills on request to provide your insurance company to potentially be reimbursed through your out-of-network benefits.
